Delete your Prep and Chef account

You can delete your Prep and Chef account and your data directly from the app — no email or web form needed.

How to delete your account

1. Open the Prep and Chef app on your iPhone.
2. Tap Settings in the tab bar.
3. Tap Account.
4. Tap Delete account.
5. Follow the four steps in the app to confirm.

What gets deleted

• Your saved recipes, meal plans, and shopping lists.
• Your dietary preferences and personalization.
• Your sign-in (Apple, Google, or email).
• Your activity history.

What may be retained

• Transaction records required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes (up to 7 years where required by law).
• Anonymized usage data that cannot be tied back to you.
• Records flagged for active security or abuse investigations.

Your subscription

If you have an active Prep and Chef subscription or free trial, deleting your account does not cancel it. You must cancel separately through the App Store, or your trial will convert to a paid subscription and continue to bill.

Timing

Once you confirm deletion in the app, your account is scheduled for permanent deletion. You can contact support to reverse this within 30 days. After that, deletion is permanent.
